Bread Gardens Pool Setup

The Bread Cooperative Community Initiatives Pool is a Gardens funding pool that lets community members fund proposals through conviction-based voting. The longer you support a proposal, the stronger your voting power becomes — growing 50% every 7 days. Sustained backing carries more weight than quick decisions.

The pool is designed to fund community-led proposals that advance Bread Cooperative’s broader network goals. Initiatives could include new platforms, research, content production, collaborative gatherings, or other ventures that bring collective benefits to the network.

  • Foster collaboration among member projects, their communities, and the greater ecosystem
  • Strengthen the Bread Cooperative community through accessible micro-grants that reward valuable contributions and experimentation

How to participate

  1. Become a community member — hold $BREAD tokens to participate in governance
  2. Access the pool — go to the Bread Cooperative Community Initiatives Pool on Gardens and stake your $BREAD tokens to activate your voting rights
  3. Support or create proposals — browse existing proposals and allocate your conviction to those you support, or create your own if you have an initiative that aligns with Bread Cooperative’s values
  4. Watch your conviction grow — the longer you support a proposal, the stronger your voting power becomes, growing 50% every 7 days
